Meet The Team

Creating beautiful landscaping in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area over the last 30 years has been a passion of love, for landscape designer Randy Hennard. Even as a young boy Randy displayed an artistic gift and love of nature. Working with his father planting a watermelon patch at the age of 6, planted the lifelong seed of working in the soil and seeing things grow. As a high school student Randy was part of a distributive education class that allowed him to work part time for a local grower, propagation plants for the Metroplex.

In 1981 Randy started his own landscape company and in 1987 became a state licensed irrigator. Installing irrigation systems and landscapes for the last 30 years has been a true labor of love.

Ethan currently holds the position of Vice President at Pool Quest and is actively involved in all aspects of the company’s operations. As the son of the owner of Pool Quest, Ethan is driven by his vision to carry forward his father’s legacy and elevate the business to new heights, ensuring that Pool Quest remains a leader in the swimming pool industry.

With years of experience under the tutelage of his father, Ethan has become a seasoned expert in swimming pool design and construction. He holds a degree from the prestigious University of North Texas, and his unwavering passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces has been the driving force behind his successful career.

Throughout his career, Ethan has established a solid reputation for his innovative backyard creations, exceptional customer service, and meticulous attention to detail during the construction process. He has a keen eye for blending creativity with functionality, resulting in breathtaking projects that not only look stunning but also serve practical purposes. His expertise in swimming pool construction has been utilized in a wide range of projects, from modest residential projects to large-scale commercial installations. Ethan takes immense pride in his work and is committed to delivering exceptional results that exceed his clients’ expectations.

In addition to his unwavering dedication to building the perfect backyard oasis, Ethan places a high value on exceptional customer service. He understands the importance of exceeding his clients’ expectations in every project, and he consistently strives to deliver outstanding results. When he’s not busy creating stunning backyard projects or managing the business, you can find Ethan exploring new places, seeking out new design inspiration, and expanding his knowledge within the swimming pool industry.

Walter Meek is a native Texan and a Professional Engineer who is a graduate of Texas A & M University. Walter’s expansive knowledge and engineering expertise has been sought after by various large corporations, and his past projects include work on the Boeing 777, the Lockheed YF-22, and the Joint Strike Fighter.

Walter understands the importance of family and will do everything possible to treat your family as his own. The Meeks have made their home in your community and even given back to the community through projects such as the Dream Home. Pool Quest designed, built, and donated everything necessary to build the pool for the Dream Home.

James King joined the Pool-Quest Team in 2023 and brings over 10+ years of experience in sales, excellent customer service, and commitment to hard work. Not only does James have amazing attention to detail, but he particularly excels in his ability to listen to his customers’ needs which seems to be a lost art in this industry. His communication skills cannot be matched and ensure his clients are confident in him, Pool-Quest, and that they trust James will provide a great experience and design. When James is not designing and selling swimming pools, he loves to travel and spend time with his family and friends.

Kevin Strong joined the Pool-Quest Team in 2017 bringing over 15 years of sales and customer service experience. Kevin’s focus is designing unique spaces that stand the test of time and creating a project that represents his client’s vision for their backyard. The key to this process is his attention to detail. Kevin’s goal is to make sure that he captures all the customers’ details for their design while still providing the customer with a superior, Pool-Quest experience. While Kevin isn’t designing and selling swimming pools, he enjoys time with his family, watching sports, and attending sporting events. (Go Cowboys!)
